Senior IT Data Engineer

What does your working day look like?

Together with your colleagues in IT Operations and Business Intelligence you work with our data infrastructure to make sure our databases are performant, reliable and suitable for our needs. Your role is split 50/50 between IT Operations and Business Intelligence.

In this company we work closely together and a question or an answer is seldom more than a ‘hello’ away. We love to solve problems and realize opportunities together.

Work might include on-call responsibilities.

Key requirements / need to have

• Expert MSSQL knowledge
• Expert knowledge of Azure ecosystem data services (SQL, Storage accounts, Dynamo DB).
• Experience in working with DataWarehouse infrastructure and ETL.
• IT security experience, including best practices for application and network security.
• A degree in the Information Technology field or the equivalent of practical work experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Bonus / nice to have

• Experience working with Synapse.
• Experience working with large SQL database setups.
• Experience working with PowerBI.
• Experience from 2^nd/3^rd line support and Incident Management.
• General experience of the retail industry.
